Road trips are one of the great American traditions, and with so many places to explore in the country, it makes sense to fit a few road trips during the time your children are growing up. If you have several children, then it can often be a much more economical way to travel compared to flying. But as a result, it can mean some long trips in the car, and taking more time to get to your chosen destinations.
